BSNL TTA JE exam 2016 results in November: answer key out, qualifying marks

BSNL JE TTA result 2016 answer key: The result of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for it’s Junior Engineer (JE) TTA 2016 examination will likely be announced in November first week now as BSNL released the answer key yesterday and has asked for query submission till Oct 28. The confirmation as to the exact date lacks here as BSNL itself has not notified the details after the conclusion of the examination. The exams were conducted in online mode between September 25th to 29th.

BSNLThe preliminary reports suggest that BSNL TTA JE result 2016 is expected to be declared sometime in next two weeks. As BSNL has not released any official notification about the declaration date, the uncertainty looms over the same. Moreover, the organization has not said anything about whether or not it will release the answer keys and response sheet for candidates who took the exam. The situation should be made clear by BSNL in few days.

Candidates may keep checking the official website ( in case any notice comes up. In case you’ve been wandering about the cut off and else, it will depend on the number of candidates who took exams and how high or low the majority scored. The cut off at which the merit is prepared will be published along with candidates’ marks after the declaration of results. However, the cut off for final list will be set considering that candidates have obtained at least the qualifying marks.

Minimum qualifying marks:

The BSNL TTE JE 2016 paper had consisted of 3 parts; General Ability (20 marks), Basic Engineering (90 marks) and Specialization (90 marks).

Going by the official notification, aspirants from other categories need to secure at least 30% marks in each part and 40% on aggregate to qualify the BSNL TTA exam. The reserved category (OBC/SC/ST) candidates will have to score at least 20% marks in each section and minimum 33% marks as aggregate. Simplification is given below in the table of the least marks needed to be secured.

Since BSNL has rounded up a total of 2700 vacancies to be filled through this recruitment drive, it is expected that around 4 lakh candidates have taken the exams. The official date has not been made available by the BSNL recruitment cell yet.
