BSNL TTA Junior Engineering JE admit card 2016 released; download here

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has released BSNL Junior Engineer (JE) admit card 2016 and BSNL TTA admit card for the exam that will take place on September 18. The details of the BSNL admit card are available at official site for Junior Engineer (JE) Erstwhile Telecom Technical Assistant (TTA) recruitment exam.

BSNL admit card 2016 were issued yesterday evening on September 17 by BSNL recruitment cell for lakhs of aspirants waiting, through it’s official website. Candidates may download their admit cards of BSNL JE (BSNL TTA) at www.externalbsnlexam.com by entering registration number, date of birth or password.

BSNLBharat Sanchar Nigam Limited BSNL JE TTA admit card 2016 can be accessed now as the exam is only a week away. In a first, BSNL is going with conducting online tests for it’s recruitment process. This BSNL exam for recruitment to 2700 posts in the cadre of Junior Engineer will be conducted next Sunday on September 25 in 25 cities throughout the country. The candidates from other areas would also be taking exam only at these centres. The centres would be allocated based on their preferences during filling the forms.

As far as the category wise break-up of vacancies go for this recruitment, out of total 2700 posts, 1460 are for Open category candidates, 608 for Other Backward Classes, 445 for Scheduled Caste, 187 for Scheduled Tribes and 95 posts are for Persons with Disability (PwD) aspirants. Punjab holds the most number of vacancies with 400.

Exclusive: It has been found that exam dates in many candidates’ admit cards are different from 25th Sept to 28th September. While BSNL has not clarified why is that, let’s discuss.

Since BSNL JE is a large scale examination as scores of candidates have applied, the tests will be held in many sessions. Candidates’ details for test city and centre, along with schedule will be mentioned in their admit cards. It must be noted that BSNL admit card for JE/TTA exam would not be dispatched by post or courier and candidates have to download the same form official website only.

The online exam would consist of a single paper having 200 multiple choice type questions. According to BSNL’s advertisement, the paper is divided in three parts namely General Ability Test, Basic Engineering and Specialization. Part I (General Ability Test) will carry 20 questions while Part-II & III would consist of 90 questions each. Maximum marks will be 200 as each question carries 1 mark.

Set on the terms with eligibility criteria in BSNL JE TTA examination, the question paper will be prepared on the lines of diploma level syllabus. The test will be of 3 hours duration and candidates will be required to take their valid ID proof along with the admit cards.

The merit list of qualified candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by them in the exam. To qualify, candidates are required to secure minimum cut off marks set by the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. The minimum qualifying marks set in each part of the paper are 30% for open category and 20% for reserved categories. But aggregated, OC candidates need to secure at least 40% marks and reserved category at least 33% to get included in the merit list and to further proceed in the recruitment process.
