Board Exams to start from 1st March: Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal has announced the schedule for board examination to be held for the academic session 2016-17. Around 2 million students are gearing up to take the Madhya Pradesh board exam this year and now with the official release of date sheet, they can schedule their final phase of studies easily.

MP Board examsThe date sheet by prepared by the MPBSE yesterday, however, the same has been uploaded on the official website today on December 10. MP Board has announced the complete schedule for High School, Higher Secondary, Higher Secondary (Vocational) Certificate and Pre-Primary & Physical Main exam for the session 2016-17. All the institutions have been instructed by the Board to paste the exam schedule in the notice boards.

The Board has announced that all the examinations will be conducted in a single shift of three hours from 8.30 am to 11.30 am. Additionally, it has been announced that all the students (regular as well as private) will follow the same schedule. The practical examination for Class 10th and 12th will be held at respective schools for regular students from February 11 to 25. For private students, practicals will be held at the respective allotted test centres from March 6 to 30. The Board has also announced that the students will be given answer sheets 5 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam. No student would be given entry if he/she comes after 15 minutes of the start of the exam.

Class 12th exam will conclude in March only, while till last year they were stretched to the first week of April. The exams for academic session 2015-16 were conducted from March 1 to April 5. MP Board 12th Class Regular as well as Vocational stream exam will commence on March 1 (Hindi) and will conclude on March 31 (Special Language – Urdu).

The Class 10th exams will also complete earlier this time. Last year, the exams were held from March 2 to 29. This year, MP Board 10th exam will commence on March 2 with Third Language (General) paper and will end on March 27 with Second & Third Language (General)/ Hindi. Third Language (General) includes Sanskrit, Urdu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil, Panjabi, Sindhi, Malayalam, Persian, Arabic, French, Russian, Kannada & Oriya.

The Pre-Primary & Physical main exam will also be conducted in March. The first year exam will be held on March 1, 7, 9 & 18, while the second year exam will held on March 4, 8, 16 & 21. Practical exams will be held from March 1 to 20.
