FIITJEE is going to conduct the next edition of Big Bang Edge Test on October 15 and the application process is underway for the test. The students seeking admission to Classroom or Integrated School Program run by FIITJEE can take the Big Bang Edge Test. The test is exclusively open for the students currently studying in Class 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11.
The registration for FIITJEE Big Bang Edge Test are now open and can be done either through offline or online mode. For offline registrations, the students can complete offline registration be sending their application by post/ courier through DD/ Pay Order which should reach the Institute by 7th October. If the payment is being made in person by cash, the registration can be done till 12th October. For online registrations, the last date is 7th October (by post/ courier through DD/ Pay order) and 12th October if the payment is made in person by cash or through online payment mode.
The Big Bang Test 2017 (for class V to XI), conducted by FIIT JEE will be held on 15th October, 2017. Interested students are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100 till 28 September. After 28 September, Rs 200 will be charges as examination fees till the respective last date. Students who had appeared for the exam in the past have to submit the photocopy of his/her hall ticket/ admit card of previous FIITJEE test along with the registration fees.
The Bing Bang Test has been designed differently for class V and VI, VIII and IX, and X and XI. Below is the basic structure of FIITJEE Big Bank Edge test:
For Class V and VI: A 3-hour duration test, consisting of objective types questions including subjects like Mathematics and General Science.
For Class VII, VIII and IX: The students will have to appear for two papers: Paper one will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12:30 am, comprising of objective type questions to gauge the current level of preparedness. Subjects covered will be Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. Paper two will be conducted in second shift from 1:30 pm to 4:45 pm, comprising of objective type questions to test goal-oriented Analytical skills. Subjects covered will be Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
For Class X and XI: Students from class X and XI will have the same schedule as that of test for Class VII, VIII and XI, the only difference being the absence of Biology subject in the question papers.
FIITJEE conducts numerous tests throughout the year and each test is also a scholarship test. The students clearing minimum cut off marks in both papers along with minimum cut off marks in each subject will be considered for scholarship.
While the FIITJEE Big Bang Edge 2017 test will be conducted on a single day, the results will be announced separately for each class. The results will be declared in the last week of October for some classes and in the first week of November for remaining classes.
