BCECE admit card 2017, Bihar ITI admit card out at bceceboard.com

BCECE admit card 2017 for Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) has been released today. The details of BCECE admit card, along with Bihar ITI admit card of ITICAT 2017 exam have been uploaded on www.bceceboard.com, the official website.

BCECE 2017 will be conducted on June 18 to shortlist students for admissions in engineering, pharmacy, BAMS, BHMS, BPT and paramedical (graduate-level) courses. There are around 4,000 seats on offer through BCECE 2017.

Last month, BCECE Board had made an important change in the selection process. The entrance exam – BCECE 2017 was initially proposed to be conducted in two-stages, wherein the first stage exam was scheduled for April 16 and second stage exam on May 14. Now, the exam will be conducted in only 1 stage on June 18.

The exam will be conducted as five papers – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Biology, and Agricultural Science. The students will have to appear for only three papers depending on their qualification. The exact details of the papers along with test center details will be mentioned in the BCECE 2017 admit card.

Each paper will have 100 multiple choice questions and each question will be of 4 marks. The merit will be decided on the basis of the aggregate marks scored by the students in BCECE 2017.

ITICAT 2017: Earlier on June 2, BCECE Board has released the ITICAT 2017 admit card. The exam is scheduled to be held on 11th June. The candidates who have applied for the ITI Competitive Admission Test are required to download ITICAT admit card as early as possible to avoid any unforeseen delay. The Board has uploaded the admit cards at its official website www.bceceboard.com.

ITICAT 2017 was initially scheduled to be held on May 28, but the exam was postponed to June 11. A notice was issued by the Board in this regard on May 24. It was also announced through the same notice that the admit cards for ITICAT will be issued from 2nd June onwards. There are around 18,045 seats in ITI course which will be filled through the exam, also including 2,270 seats in Women ITIs.

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (Board) had notified the ITICAT 2017 exam in March and the online registration facility was opened for the test from March 21 to April 18. The Board had also provided the facility to make online corrections in the application forms from April 22 to 25. As the exam date was changed, the admit card release was delayed from previous date of May 1.

To download ITICAT 2017 admit card, the candidates are required to enter their respective username or registration number followed by date of birth or password. Once the admit card opens on the screen, the candidates will have to take the printout of it. The Board has advised the candidates to read the instructions mentioned in the admit card and contact the Board in case of any error in the details mentioned in the admit card.

On the exam day i.e. 11 June, the candidates are required to carry the admit card to report to their respective allotted exam center. Along with the ITICAT admit card, the candidates will also have to carry a proforma which is available in the ITICAT 2017 prospectus. After taking the printout of the proforma, the candidates will have to paste a post card size photo in specified place, fill and sign it. The candidates will have to submit the proforma to invigilator at the examination center.

ITICAT 2017 will be conducted as a single paper having 150 questions divided among three sections as follows:

  • Mathematics – 50 questions
  • General Science – 50 questions
  • General Knowledge – 50 questions

Each question will be of 2 marks, hence the maximum marks will be 300. The question paper will be set in Hindi and English languages and the candidates will be given OMR sheets to mark the answers. There will be no negative marking in ITICAT 2017. The exam duration will be 135 minutes and the exact exam timing will be printed in the admit card.

Based on the performance of the candidates in the admission test, BCECE Board will prepare the merit list for the purpose of admissions in the Industrial Training Institutes (ITI)s.

While the ITICAT admit card has been issued by the Board, the BCECE 2017 admit card will be issued later. The entrance exam (BCECE 2017) is scheduled to be held on 18 June. “Due to unavoidable reasons admit card of BCECE LE 2017 & DECE LE 2017 will not be issued from published scheduled date, next date for downloading the admit card will be intimated later on,” the Board has notified.
