The exact number as to how many candidates appeared is not known as of this writing.
Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) is a Mini Ratna company, which in itself is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL) – a Maha Ratna company, which was overtaken by the Indian government back in 1971.
Exam Answer Keys
Multiple Choice Questions were asked in the exam which consisted of two parts. Part A was general awareness test and part B was professional aptitude test. The exam was held on 2 languages i.e., English and Hindi.
Since the test was held in written mode, candidates get to take the question papers with them. It’s not sure whether or not BCCL will release the answer keys for the exam as no information has been mentioned in the notification regarding the same. But if does, we’ll update.
But just as some coaching centres and online forums do solve the question paper and provide answer keys for other exams, the same can also be possible here.
The candidates can anyway use the question paper to search the answers and get a rough idea of the marks they can expect in the exam. For us, it’s still too early to predict an expected cut off in the examination without solid date but we’ll update soon after analysing the reports.
The results of the test can be expected within next 2-3 weeks. BCCL has not fixed any date for the results declaration either.
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of results of written test and the candidates shortlisted should also meet other eligibility criteria set by the Company.
After the declaration of written test results, shortlisted candidates will be called for the verification of documents and initial medical examination by the company’s authorised board. Only the medically fit candidates will be enlisted in the final merit.
The schedule of document verification, publication of written test results and medical exam is not notified yet.
