AUCET 2017: Final chance to fill online application

Though the application window for Andhra University Common Entrance Test – AUCET 2017 had closed yesterday, there is still a chance for aspirants to take the test. However, for new registrations, the applicants will have to pay the late fee. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on May 8 & 9.

Directorate of Admissions, Andhra University will be organizing the Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) for admissions into various Science, Arts, Engineering and Law courses offered in the Campus colleges of Andhra University, P.G. centers and colleges affiliated to AU. The test scores will also be used for admission into Arts and Science courses offered by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam and its affiliated colleges. Overall, the entrance test is being conducted for admission into 40 Arts courses, 54 Science Courses, 8 6-year Integrated Dual Degree program in Engineering courses and 1 Law course.

The notification of AUCET/ AUEET 2017 was rolled out on March 3 and the application process commenced on March 8. Initially, the last date for submitting the online application was set as April 15, however, in view of large representations from the students, the application window was extended by 5 days and finally, it closed on April 20.

As a final chance to the students, the application window will remain active for next five days, i.e. up to April 25. But for submitting the application during this period, the applicants will have to pay required late fee, which is Rs. 1,000 for AUCET 2017 and Rs. 1,500 for AUEET 2017. The fee can be paid through online mode using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

After the payment of application fee, the applicant will get an SMS at the registered mobile number and an email at the registered email id. The applicants can take the printed copy of registered application using their Aplication number as user ID and date of birth as password. The applicants can take the printout at any time, but editing/ adding information is not allowed once the application is submitted.

For those students who have already submitted their application forms, if they wish to change any data in the application, they can upload the complaints up to April 27 after logging into the website using their details.

AUCET 2017 will be conducted in Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada and Guntur. The test will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes duration. The hall tickets of AUCET 2017 will be uploaded on the official website on April 29.
