Assam Special Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is scheduled to be organised on 20th August by Government of Assam for all the graduate teachers in the Adarsh Vidyalayas of the state. The paper will be of 3 hours, and will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at test centres set up across 30 districts of the state. The districts are allotted as per the permanent district selected by the candidate during the online application process.
Candidate must score at least 60% marks in the examination to qualify the TET examination. 5 percent relaxation in the qualifying criteria is allotted for candidates who belongs to ST/SC/OBC/PWD.
Submission of online forms are now no longer entertained as the last date of submission was 10 July, 2017.
Special Teacher Eligibility exam shall contain 200 multiple choice question of 1 mark each. The exam will be of 200 marks. Of 200, 100 marks will consist of General studies and Current Affairs, and rest for Pedagogy and General English. To pass the exam, the candidate needs to qualify both the sections separately.

All the queries regarding revaluation of results of TET will be conducted within two months from the date of declaration of results at State Mission Office of RMSA, Assam. The candidate have to submit a demand draft of INR 300 in favour of Member Secretary, TET empowered committee for Secondary Education payable at Guwahati.
