The online application form of APTET 2017 will be made available from 3.30 pm today, the Commissionerate of School Education has updated. APTET 2017 notification was released last week wherein it was notified that the APTET applications will be submitted from December 18. The CSE has decided to conduct Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET 2017) as a computer-based test.
Apply for APTET 2017: For submitting the application form of APTET 2017, the candidates are required to visit the CSE website cse.ap.gov.in and follow the TET-2017 link. The notification and information bulletin of AP TET 2017 can be accessed from the APTET website to check the eligibility and other related details.
The candidates can apply for APTET 2017 by first paying the exam fee. APTET is to be conducted as two papers wherein Paper 1 will be for those candidates who aspire to teach Classes I to V and Paper 2 will be for those who are to teach Classes VI to VIII. The candidates can apply for either one paper or both the papers, depending on the eligibility criteria. For each paper, the candidates will have to pay Rs. 500 as application fee.
APTET 2017 application fee can be paid through the payment gateway available on the official website. On receipt of fee at APONLINE e-Seva, the candidates will be issued a Journal Number, with which they can fill the application form. Once the application form is submitted, the candidate will be issued a reference ID number. The candidates should take out the printout of the submitted application form, however, one is not required to send it to the Commission.
The candidates should note that the last date to pay the exam fee is December 31, 2017, and the last date to submit APTET application form is January 1, 2018.
About APTET 2017: Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET December 2017) will be conducted by the Department of School Education through a Computer-Based Test, CSE had mentioned in the notification. The TET exam will be conducted as a online test for the first time in all 13 districts of the State.
APTET will be conducted in accordance with the guidelines of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for determining the eligibility of candidates to be appointed as Teachers in State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private un-aided schools in Andhra Pradesh. For the recruitment of teachers, 20% weightage will be given to TET scores.
APTET 2017 will be conducted in multiple shifts from January 17 to 27. The candidates will be able to know APTET exam date through the hall tickets slated to be issued on January 9. APTET Paper 1 will be conducted in the morning shift (9.30 am to 12 noon) and Paper 2 will be conducted in the second shift from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. As APTET will be an Online Test, CSE will provide the facility of mock test from January 8 for all applicants.
