APSET results soon, Final answer keys released at apset.net.in

APSET 2017 was conducted by Andhra University on 30th July and over 40 thousand aspirants took the test. The University will soon announce APSET results 2017 and the same will be made available on the official website apset.net.in for the candidates.

Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) comprised of three papers held in a single day. Andhra University, Visakhapatnam had earlier published the provisional answer keys of the test and called the candidates to submit their representations. Recently, the APSET final key was also released by the Varsity for all three papers; subject-wise. The candidates can access APSET keys from official website.

APSET final key 2017 has been released by Andhra University after analysing all the objections raised by the candidates for all the three papers (General and subject-wise paper). The answer given in the answer keys for all the question in all three papers are correct and any further objection will not be entertained. Candidates can now calculate their score by checking the answers of each question using the answer keys.

APSET 2017 was conducted for total 31 subjects in 31 centres across the regions – Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram, Guntur, Nellore, Ananthapur and Thirupati. Total 43,023 candidates appeared for the test, out of which 4,095 candidates were registered for Telugu only.

As the APSET final key is now out, the candidates can expect the results anytime soon. The University Grants Commission had recently announced changes in the result preparation method for National Eligibility Test (NET). The same changes will be followed while preparing the APSET results 2017, the same has also been announced by the Andhra University. As per the new rules, total 6 percent of the appearing candidates will be declared qualified in the test.

The candidates will be required to score minimum 40 percent marks (aggregate) in all three papers and merits list will be prepared subject-wise & category-wise based on the qualifying marks. Out of all the candidates who appeared in APSET 2017, 6 percent of them will be declared APSET qualified. The minimum qualifying marks for OBC (Non-creamy layer)/ SC/ ST/ PwD candidates are 35 percent.

APSET results 2017 will be published online at apset.net.in and all the qualified candidates named in the merit list will be called for verification of certificates. The venue for the certificate verification hasn’t been notified yet.
