APRJC results 2017 for Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior College (APRJC) Common Entrance Test (CET) 2017 have been declared. APRJC results can be checked now at aprs.cgg.gov.in, the official website. Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions Society declared the APRJC results 2017 on Wednesday evening as the admission process (counselling) is scheduled to commence from June 1. The Society is currently managing 10 AP Residential Junior Colleges and 2 degree colleges for which the admission tests were conducted on May 4. The APRJC results have been uploaded online on the websites: apresidential.cgg.gov.in and aprs.cgg.gov.in.
Note: The results are out for APRJC 2017 and APRDC 2017 notification. The results of notification published for minority college admissions are not out yet.
Of the 10 residential junior colleges (APRJC), 4 are for Boys, 2 are for Girls, 1 is for Co-Education and 3 are Minority colleges (2 for Minority Boys and 1 for Minority Girls). The Society had conducted APRJC CET 2017 (common entrance test) for admission into Inter 1st year in 7 AP Residential Junior Colleges (General) for the academic year 2017-18.
There are total 1,080 seats available in these 7 junior colleges and the applications for APRJC CET 2017 were submitted from March 18 to April 12. Subsequently, the entrance exam was conducted by the Society on May 4 from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Based on the merit in the CET 2017, the students will be selected for these junior colleges. The admissions will be made through counselling which is scheduled start after June 1. The first counselling list for admission will be placed on the official website.
For admissions in 3 Minority Junior Colleges, the Society had decided that the SSC marks will be considered. There are total 345 seats in 3 minority colleges and the selection of students will be made on the basis of merit in SSC March 2017 examination only. The applications were filled from May 6 to 23 and now the first selection list for admission will be published on June 1. The journal numbers of the selected students will be made available on the websites apresidential.cgg.gov.in and aprs.cgg.gov.in on 1st June.
Apart from the Junior Colleges, APREIS also manages two degree colleges: A.P Residential Degree College (Men), Nagarjuna Sagar and Silver Jubilee Government College (Co-Ed & Autonomous), Kurnool. The Society had conducted RDC-CET 2017 on May 4 for admissions in the degree colleges. There are total 152 seats in APRDC (Men), Nagarjuna Sagar and 250 seats in Silver Jubilee Government College, Kurnool.

The admission into above mentioned 1st-year-degree course will be done on the basis of merit in RDC-CET 2017 only. The entrance exam was conducted in one session and the paper was of 150 marks, including three papers of 40 marks in each subject and English paper of 30 marks.Seats available in the colleges are allotted in the ratio of 42:36:22 to the areas of erstwhile Andhra University, Osmania

APREIS will declare the results of the RDC-CET 2017 shortly and the hall ticket numbers of the selected candidates will be made available on the websites: www.apresidential.gov.in, aprs.cgg.gov.in. The counselling for first list candidates will start from June 1.
