AEE Results Update : Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced AEE Screening Test results today. A total of 50,341 candidates’ marks have been published by the Commission. The list of roll numbers of 37,400 candidates who will now take the Mains exam is also available. After taking inputs from the candidates for preliminary key, the final key for all three categories (Agricultural, Civil and Mechanical Engineering) have also been published.
APPSC AEE results were expected to be announced in the first week of December as a local news paper reported. APPSC, however, had not issued any notice as of this moment and results aren’t published on the official website.
That being said there are serious chances that APPSC AEE results 2016 will be published today on December 3rd after the reports of yesterday. The Commission itself in a press note issued earlier this week had said that results will be out in December 1st week but hadn’t mentioned any exact date.
In the same press note, APPSC also said that ratio of candidates to be shortlisted for mains exam will be 1:50 (vacancy:candidates). That means, against 748 vacancies, 37,400 candidates will qualify prelims (screening test) to appear for mains. According to the notified schedule, the mains exam will be held on December 29 & 30. More details on selection process and cut-offs is here.
APPSC had also found several discrepancies in candidates’ hall tickets being duplicate. In that case, the commission release a notice containing the correct hall ticket numbers of candidates. The answer keys had already been released officially. The screening test consisted of 3 sections of 50 marks each and the candidates scoring minimum 40% marks will be considered for inclusion in the merit list for main exam. The minimum qualifying marks for BC candidates and SC/ST/PH candidates are 35% and 30% respectively.
Candidates will be able to check their APPSC results, APPSC AEE results 2016 on the website (https://www.psc.ap.gov.in/) once it is declared. We’ll update you here once the result is out. Stay connected.
