APPSC AEE screening test 2016 results have been announced by the Commission. The aspirants can access their marks at the official portal psc.ap.gov.in. The final keys as well as list of candidates who have qualified for the mains exam is also available at the official website.
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is going to declare APPSC AEE results 2016 in next 1-2 days as per reports. The screening test for the recruitment to the post of Assistant Executive Engineer in various department was administered on November 6, wherein around 70 thousand candidates participated.
APPSC had released notification no. 06.2016 on 17th August for filling 748 vacancies of Assistant Executive Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Agriculture) in various Engineering Services. The applications were submitted from August 18 to September 21 for which a total of 70,092 applications were recieved by the Commission. The Commission had initially proposed a single level online examination, however, due to large number of applications, the Commission decided to conduct screening test (objective type – manual with OMR answer sheet) on November 6 and main exam (objective type – computer based) on December 29 & 30.
The screening test was peacefully conducted across all test centers on November 6 and the results are still under preparation. Earlier, the answer keys of screening test were released by the Commission. The screening test consisted of three sections of 50 marks each and the candidates scoring minimum 40 percent marks will be considered for inclusion in the merit list for main exam. The minimum qualifying marks for BC candidates and SC/ST/PH candidates stands at 35% and 30% respectively.
Out of all candidates, 37,400 candidates will be called for the main exam as the Commission clarified that the selection ratio from screening test to main examination would be 1:50 with reference to the number of posts. The APPSC AEE main exam would consist of 3 papers and would be conducted as an online examination. Paper 1 & 2 would be conducted on December 29 in two separate shifts (10 am to 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm to 5 pm) and Paper 3 would be conducted on December 30 in the morning shift from 10 am to 12.30 pm.
