IDBI Bank had issued advertisement no. 2/2016-17 on November 16, 2016, for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’. The candidates will be inducted into the Bank as Assistant Manager after the successful completion of 1-year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) at Manipal School of Banking, Bengaluru. The online application process for the recruitment has started from November 25.
Candidates having completed their graduation with minimum 60 percent marks (55 percent for SC/ST/PwD candidates) are eligible to apply for IDBI Bank Assistant Manager Recruitment 2016-17. The online application window would remain open till December 9 and the candidates will be able to submit and edit the applications till the same day. The application fee is Rs. 150 for SC/ST/PwD candidates and Rs. 700 for others. For more details on the eligibility criteria, the candidates can refer to the official notification.
Approximately 1000 candidates will be selected for PGDBF program. The program consists of 9 months of classroom studies and 3 months internship at IDBI Bank’s branches. After successful completion of the course, the candidates will be awarded PGDBF from Manipal University and will be inducted into IDBI Bank as Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ subjected to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria mandated by the Bank.
The aspirants will have to go through the selection process consisting of an online exam and personal interview to be administered by the Bank. The online test is tentatively scheduled to be held on February 3, 2017 across 94 selected cities. The candidates will be shortlisted for the interviews on the basis of the marks scored in the online test. The call letters for the online test would be issued after January 17, 2017. The Bank would also conduct pre-examination training for SC/ST/OBC candidates in January.
