APDMC to conduct MP DMAT 2015 on 21 June at 12 Cities

Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh (APDMC) has released the complete schedule for DMAT-2015. The entrance test will be held on 21 June 2015 across 12 Exam cities, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Delhi, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Rewa, Ujjain. The question paper will be based on the Class XI syllabus of CBSE or Madhya Pradesh State Board and will be comprise questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

All India Common Entrance Test – DMAT 2015 will be held on 21 June

APDMC will hold an All India Common Entrance Test ‘DMAT-2015’ for admission to MBBS, BDS, BPT, BOT, B.Sc. Nursing and other allied paramedical courses for the academic session 2015-16. Application forms were invited from 12 May and 21 Institutes/Colleges are participating in MP DMAT 2015. Last date to apply for DMAT 2015 is 18 June, application forms can be submitted with late fee by 20 June.

About APDMC – The Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh was established in the year 2005 and is the representative body of 20 Private Unaided Dental and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh.

DMAT 2015 exam pattern : There will be 1 common paper of 3 hours duration and will comprise of 200 multiple choice questions. The question paper will be divided in four sections as mentioned behind:

Physics – 40 questions
Chemistry – 40 questions
Botany – 40 questions
Zoology – 40 questions

Students will be awarded 1 mark for each correct response, there will be no negative marking.

The admit card for DMAT 2015 will be issued one week prior to the exam date. There are 7 Medical, 14 Dental Colleges and 9 Paramedical & Allied Science Colleges participating in the entrance examination and will facilitate admissions to the meritorious students through open counselling.

The college wise distribution of seats is mentioned in the brochure, each Medical College has total 150 seats, that takes the total seat intake to 1050. There are total 1320 seats in 14 Dental Colleges, 460 seats for B.Sc. Nursing, 604 seats in BPT and remaining seats in other courses like ANM, GNM, Diploma Medical Lab Technician, Diploma X-Ray Technician, X-Ray Radiographer Technician, Gamma Camera Technician, Operation Theatre Technician, Audiologist, etc.

The merit list will be published after the results declaration and all the students will be provided the rank card which will mention their marks and rank in the merit list.
