AP Police constable hall ticket 2016 released for PET/PMT: APSLPRB

Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) has uploaded the hall tickets for PET and PMT to be held for Constable recruitment. The Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test is scheduled to commence from December 5 and as per the notified dates, the SLPRB has released the hall tickets for the test. The candidates declared qualified on the basis of preliminary exam can access their AP Police Constable hall ticket from official website recruitment.appolice.gov.in.

ap policeAPSLPRB had notified in July to fill approx. 4,548 vacancies of Constable (Civil & AR) and Warder (Male & Female). These posts include 3,216 Police Constable (Civil) & 1,067 Police Constable (AR) posts in Police Department and 240 Warder (Male) & 25 Warder (Female) posts in Prisons and Correctional Services Department. As much as 4.3 lakh candidates had applied for these posts. The preliminary exam was organized on November 6 in which over 3.8 lakh candidates participated.

As per the exact reports, 3,86,472 candidates took the prelims test, while 1,16,127 candidates were declared qualified for further selection process that includes Physical Measurement Test/ Physical Efficiency Test and Final written exam. The PET/ PMT would now commence from December 5 and the shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear for a final written exam to be held on January 22, 2017. The final written exam would be organized across 6 cities – Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tirupati and Kurnool.

The PMT/PET will be conducted in two phases on the same day. The PMT and PET would begin on December 5, while it would end on December 24. The schedule for PET and PMT differs for each centre, hence the candidates can check the complete schedule here.

At the time of reporting this news, the official web portal of AP Police Recruitment Board was not opening frequently, this may be due to large number of hits the website was receiving at that point of time. The candidates are advised to check back in some time, if they face the same.
