AP PGECET 2017 results and rank card to be released today

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) 2017 results are scheduled to be declared today by the Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of APSCHE. Once the results have been declared by the university, candidates can check their results on the official website at http://sche.ap.gov.in/PGECET/. The results can be checked by the candidate by filling in their hall ticket number in the activated link.

The AP PGECET rank card will be available separately for download. AP PGECET 2017 result will reflect the performance of the candidate with details of the marks obtained, and the rank in the entrance exam held for the M.Tech admissions in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who have qualified in GATE will have to apply separately and will be given preference over the AP PGECET 2017 qualified candidates for seat allotment. GATE qualified candidates need not see the result for AP PGECET 2017 as they are exempt from the entrance examination.

The three-day APPGECET- 2017 for admission into PG courses in engineering and pharmacy colleges was held in computer based mode and got concluded on ,ay 12, 2017. The examination was successfully conducted at 12 centres in two sessions across Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad in Telangana. Out of 32,325 candidates who have registered themselves for the examination, 29,012 appeared. Earlier, the results were likely to be declared on May 18, 2017.

While filling up the seats in colleges, first preference will be given to candidates qualified in GATE / GPAT in the relevant based on their test scores and the remaining seats with the candidates qualified in APPGECET-2017 as per their merit ranks.

Qualifying marks are 25% (30 out of 120) which is applicable to candidates except SC/ST. For SC/ST candidates, there are no qualifying marks for ranking.

AP PGECET Cut Off – The minimum marks required to be considered for the M.Tech admissions in Andhra Pradesh is the AP PGECET cutoff. This will be determined by Andhra University on the basis of factors like the number of applicants, seats available and difficulty levels of the paper. Candidates must note that the cutoff for AP PGECET will be separate for each discipline and category of students.
