AP LAWCET Results: The result of Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test is scheduled to be declared today at 5.30 pm. The updates on LAWCET results are being provided here and shortly, the link will be updated here.
The LAWCET results were expected after 10 May, however, as manabadi confirmed the same for today, the results will be announced now. AP EDCET results will also be announced today. AP LAWCET results 2017 will be announced at the official website of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, sche.ap.gov.in. Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuram had conducted the AP LAWCET & PGLCET 2017 on April 19. The LAWCET is a common entrance test for admissions in undergraduate law programs including 3-year & 5-year LL.B program, while the PGLCET is for admissions in the postgraduate LL.M program.
SKU had conducted the AP LAWCET 2017 in online mode for the first time. After the conduct of the exam on April 19, the answer keys were published by the university on April 25. The response sheets of the candidates were also uploaded to the official website so as to maintain transparency in the exam process as well as to give a fair chance of selection. There are around 3 thousand seats in 5-year LL.B program along with 5,800 seats in 3-year LL.B program in 33 colleges.
For admissions in 461 seats under LL.M course in 13 colleges, PGLCET was also conducted on the same day. As the answer keys were published on April 25, the candidates were given a five-day window to submit the challenges. As the objection submission closed on April 29, the candidates had been waiting for the announcement of results.
APSCHE has fixed the minimum qualifying marks for AP LAWCET 2017, which is 35% marks. The test was of 120 marks, hence the passing marks are 42. The AP LAWCET results 2017 will be declared in the form of the rank list, the candidates scoring marks equal to or more than 42 marks will be considered for inclusion in the rank list. There is no requirement of qualifying marks for SC/ ST candidates, hence they will be awarded the ranks irrespective of their marks in LAWCET.
For PGLCET, the minimum qualifying marks are 25 percent i.e. 30 out of 120 marks. The candidates will be ranked in order of merit on the basis of their marks in the entrance test. There is no minimum marks criteria for SC/ ST candidate.
Ed.CET 2017 was conducted by the Andhra University for admissions into B.Ed course in the University, Government, Aided and Private colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh. The test was held on April 19 and the results will be declared at the same time AP LAWCET result will be announced.
