Andhra University, Visakhapatnam conducted the Integrated Common Entrance test for admissions to first year of MCA and MBA courses for the session 2015-16. The test was conducted on the behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) and announced the AP ICET results. A total of 88.33 percent students qualified in the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2015, results are available at the online portal for AP ICET 2015.
Talking about the courses, total 15,850 seats are available for MCA course in 221 colleges and 40,360 seats are available for MBA course in 407 colleges. Andhra university invited applications from eligible candidates and a total of 78,758 applications reached the University. Out of total applications, 72,182 students turned up for the test and 63,768 (88.34 percent) qualified.
ICET was conducted on 16th May and this was the first time ICET was conducted in Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation of the State earlier. 136 examination centers were alloted to the applicants and the exam was strictly conducted as per the guidelines by APSCHE, there were no incidents of cheating or malpractice reported.
Kodali Bhargav, native of Kakinada, came first by scoring 163 marks out of 200 marks.
Considering the gender wise result, 42549 out of 48123 boys who appeared for the test managed to qualify the test while 21219 of 24072 girls qualified. AP ICET results are available on www.apicet15.org and the same can be accessed by using the hall ticket number.
AP ICET result was scheduled to be announced on 28 May, but had been declared one day ahead of the schedule. ICET results were released online on 27 May and candidates can print out their result as well as rank card from the websites by entering hall ticket number and date of birth.
