AP ECET results 2017 are expected to be announced this week. Some reports online are indicating that the results may come out by today but there is no official word attached and the most likely frame will be on May 10 or May 11.
Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) had conferred Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University – Anantapur (JNTU-A) had conducted this Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) 2017 on May 3rd for which around 40 thousand candidates had appeared.
The question papers and preliminary answer keys were made available on May 4 and students can still download their response sheets. The students were also given an option to challenge the preliminary keys and the deadline for doing that was 6th May. Since the JNTU-A committee will first sort out the objections, review it and approve it, the results will be released afterwards.
In 2016, 34,739 candidates had taken the AP ECET. Of them, 33,535 had qualified the test as per the norms set by APSCHE. The pass percentage was recorded at 96.53.
The candidates can check their AP ECET results on the official portal sche.ap.gov.in/ECET once it is declared. They can enter their roll number and other required details in the respected fields to see the results.
Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test APECET- 2017 was conducted through computer based Test by JNTUA, Ananthapuramu on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), in accordance with G.O. Ms No.57 HE(EC.2) dated:12.05.2008 and G.O.Ms No.43 dt:25.05.2011 for Diploma Holders of Engineering Technology/ Pharmacy and B.Sc. Graduates (with Mathematics) for admission through lateral entry at 2nd year level into B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Pharmacy Programmes offered in Universities and AICTE/PCI approved Institutions in A.P. for the academic year 2017-18.The eligible candidates have to apply through online mode only.
