APSCHE has declared results of AP EAMCET 2017 at it’s portal sche.ap.gov.in/eamcet as was reported. Along with APEAMCET results, the marks of candidates have also been released to them. The entrance test was held online from April 25 to April 28 will also be published. Reportedly, the time of EAMCET result declaration was set at 3 pm. The entrance test for admission to engineering, agriculture and pharmacy courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh was conducted over a period of three days from April 24 and April 27, 2017.
APSCHE has also received 110 objections against the EAMCET questions and key answers that were released on April 30. An expert committee has been set up to sort out the objections which reviewed them yesterday. The committee is headed by Chairman of Higher Educational Institutions in Vijaywada, Prof. Vijaya Raju. The final results will be out tomorrow after approval of the report.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) has conducted EAMCET this year on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). APSCHE is also responsible for conduct of other entrance tests such as ECET, ICET, LAWCET, PGECET, PECET etc.
Candidates will be able to access EAMCET results and marks online at (http://sche.ap.gov.in/EAMCET) 3 pm onward. Candidates will then receive short messages on their registered mobile numbers after half an hour the results declaration via online mode at website. Not just results, the ranks obtained by the candidates will also be released tomorrow which will then be the basis of counselling and admissions. Candidates can also view their results at www.manabadi.co.in.
Ganta Srinivas, Human Resource & Development minister will release EAMCET results on May 5, at 3 pm during a press event. Other cabinet ministers, Kamineni Srinivas, Somoreddu Chandramohan Reddy and Ch. Adinarayana Reddy, along with APSCHE officials including Chairman S Vijaya Raju will also be present at the event.
Ch. Sai Babu, Convener of AP EAMCET 2017 and the Registrar of JNTU-K yesterday said that the state council and state public varsities have conducted the entrance tests online this year including EAMCET, ICET and LAWCET. Near 2.77 lakh candidates were registered to appear for EAMCET at test centres set up across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state. Of them, 1.98 lakh are engineering aspirants and 80 thousand aspire to pursue agricultural studies. The attendance has been around 95 percent.
The rank list in EAMCET is prepared on the basis of EAMCET results and students’ marks in class 12. More precisely, 75% weightage is given to the marks in EAMCET and 25% weightage to the marks obtained by students in their relevant group subjects (PCM for engineering and PCB for agriculture). The exam was of 160 marks. The ranks of the candidates will play a vital role in securing of seats in the college and course of their choice.
After the results are out, the council will notify the schedule of counselling within a week. The candidates are then called for counselling according to the ranks and the admission process is carried out. The details on document verification process and admission formalities will be out next week.
