EAMCET 2015 Option entry to file college preference has begun today as the admission process for various professional courses under Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test 2015 has commenced from Friday at 34 centres in 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. The online counselling was formally launched by Human Resource Department Mininster Ganta Srinivasa Rao at the Government Institute of Chemical Engineering in Visakhapatnam.
While the Minister was present at the venue, it started raining and resulted in overflowing of rain water at the entrance of the centre. Mr. Rao then directed the EAMCET authorities to shift the web counselling centre from the Government Institute of Chemical Engineering to Andhra University (Platinum Jubilee Guest House) from Saturday.
AP EAMCET 2015 was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on the behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. A total of 1,70,440 candidates took the entrance exam that was held on 8 May, the final answer key and results were announced on 21 May. Around 77 percent candidates have qualified the EAMCET and will participate in the counselling process for admission in affiliated colleges across 13 districts of State.
The online admission process begin at 9 am on 12 June and will continue till 16 June.
Important Documents to be carried at the time of counselling : Students must carry their documents in original as well as two sets of photocopies, the list of documents is depicted below-

Students will be able to submit their college preferences online from 14 June and they will be allowed to make changes to their list of preferences on 22 & 23 June. The final allotment list will be published on 26 June.
Students who have secured ranks from 1 to 30,000 can exercise their options on June 14 and 15. Candidates with ranks from 30,001 to 60,000 are to submit their preferences on June 16 and 17. Rank holders between 60,001 and 90,000 are to make submissions on June 18 and 19. All rank holders there after are to submit their preferences between June 20 and 21.
