Update on AP EAMCET 2017: The hall ticket of entrance test has been made available now by the JNTU Kakinada. The applicants can download EAMCET hall ticket from the official web portal sche.ap.gov.in or directly from here. The students will have to provide their EAMCET registration number and date of birth to access EAMCET 2017 hall ticket.
The hall ticket of Andhra Pradesh (AP) Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2017 will be available for all the registered candidates in the afternoon today. JNTU Kakinada will activate the link for AP EAMCET 2017 hall ticket download at the EAMCET portal. Around 2.5 lakh students will be appearing for EAMCET exam this year, the official figures are yet to be revealed.
Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test – AP EAMCET 2017 will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (on the behalf of APSCHE) for admissions into the first year Engineering, Technology, Agriculture and Medical-Allied courses for the academic year 2017-18. It is for the first time that the EAMCET will be conducted as an online test.
The test will be administered simultaneously at 156 exam centers, including six in Hyderabad. Dr. K Raghunath, Chief Camp Officer said that each center will have nearly 1,000 computers and additional 250 computers will also be arranged to replace any faulty machine during the exam. The students can know their exam center through EAMCET hall ticket.
The applications for AP EAMCET 2017 were submitted from February 9 to March 17, however, the facility is still open. Interested students can still apply for the entrance test by paying a late fee of Rs. 10,000. The same could be done up to April 22 as the exam will commence from April 24.
As per the courses, AP EAMCET 2017 will be conducted in two shifts each day from April 24 to 28. The first four days, i.e. April 24 to 27 are reserved for engineering aspirants, while agriculture & medical entrance test will be held on the last day, April 28. The shift timings will be 10 am to 1 pm and 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The exam pattern for engineering aspirants will be: 80 questions from Mathematics and 40 questions each from Physics and Chemistry. For agriculture and medical courses, the question paper will have 40 questions each from Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry. Each question will carry 1 mark.
The candidates can know their test date and timing through AP EAMCET 2017 hall ticket. The candidates are required to report at their respective exam centers at least two hours before the commencement of the test. No candidate will be allowed into the exam center even if he/she is late by one minute after the starting of the test.
As the AP EAMCET will be conducted as an online test for the first time, the University is also providing the facility of mock test for all the aspirants. The facility can be availed from the EAMCET website wherein the pattern of mock test is similar to the actual exam pattern. Dr. Raghunath said around 1.5 lakh students have already used the mock test facility and others should also do the same to understand the online examination model.
The preliminary key will also be released by the university so as to main transparency in the test process. The preliminary key will be available one day after the conclusion of test and the results will be announced on May 6.
