The results of Amrita University entrance exam (AEEE) 2017 have been declared at 12:30 pm according a press release. Candidates can check Amrita University results 2017, AEEE result now at www.amrita.edu by entering their registration number and other required details.
The AEEE 2017 was conducted in both online and offline (pen-paper) mode in April and as per the calendar of events, the results will be announced today.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita University) had notified the engineering entrance examination in December last year and the applications were submitted up to April 15. Subsequently, the entrance exam was conducted across the country. AEEE 2017 was administered as a computer-based test (CBT) in 96 cities from April 20 to 23, while the Pen & Paper based test was conducted on April 29 in selected test centers in Tamilnadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. The qualified candidates will be eligible for admissions into various undergraduate B.Tech programs offered by Amrita School of Engineering in its four campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Coimbatore, and Vengal (Chennai).
Amrita University Entrance Exam/ AEEE result will be declared in two forms; entrance exam result with scores and ranks. The engineering aspirants who had taken the test will be awarded ranks on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance exam. The candidates securing a rank below the closing rank will be eligible to take part in the counselling process.
To access AEEE 2017 result, the candidates will have to click on the Results link and enter their respective application number and date of birth. The results are expected to be out by the evening (before 5 pm). Once the Amrita University entrance exam results are out, the direct link will be updated here.
The University will hold the counselling after the declaration of results. The counselling is expected to commence from the last week of may or 1st week of June, however, the dates are yet to be announced. The counselling schedule will be published in the University website along with the rank lists.
10 percent of the students will be eligible for the scholarship in the first year of B.Tech in each of the four campuses based on the merit. Overall, 234 students will be eligible for the award of scholarship (tuition fee waiver ranging from 90 percent to 25 percent) depending on the AEEE 2017 rank. Apart from the scholarships based on Amrita University entrance exam, the University will also offer fee waivers to the toppers of State Board exams and CBSE/ ICSE exams.
