So, AKTU is at it again, as the varsity has left the candidates in a spot with just 5 days to go for the entrance and admit cards haven’t been issued yet.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), the organising authority of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE), had initially announced to release the admit cards of the entrance exam on April 7, however, the delay from the varsity’s end put the aspirants in a fix. Today, the varsity announced that now the admit cards will be available for download from April 11, 10 am onwards.

UPSEE 2017 is scheduled to be held on April 16, 22 & 23. Lakhs of aspirants apply for the State-level entrance exam as it is the gateway to secure admission in various courses like B.Tech, B.Arch., B.Pharm., BHMCT, BFAD, BFA, MBA and MCA offered at all the institutions of the State.

UPSEE will be conducted as total 11 papers, depending upon the courses. Paper 1, 2 & 3 are for admissions in 1st year B.Tech, while Paper 4 is for admissions in B.Arch program. All these four papers will be conducted as OMR based tests in 49 major cities (41 cities of Uttar Pradesh and 8 other cities). Remaining seven papers will be conducted as computer-based online tests. Check the complete schedule here.

Around 1.2 lakh applications have been received by the university for UPSEE 2017. The University was expected to release the admit cards for all the applicants on April 7, though the same was not done. The varsity didn’t even announce the reason behind the delay. It has just updated on the official website that now the UPSEE admit card will be available from April. The exam schedule has not been tweaked so far, hence the candidates can feel relaxed for now.

The candidates are advised to access and download their respective admit card from the official website ( only and carefully check the particulars mentioned in the admit card. In case of any mistake or error, one should immediately contact the authorities.

One more quick advice, instead of wasting your time (I know AKTU has already done it) do focus on the coming exam. Grab your revision notes, find yourself a solemn space and get ready to fight the upcoming battle.
