AIPVT 2016 Result Next Week; Answer Keys Released

aipvt 2016Veterinary council is going to announce the result of AIPVT 2016 around 10th or 11th June as the answer keys have been displayed online at for all candidates. The Council released the notification at it’s website yesterday regarding the display of answer sheets and result declaration.

AIPVT answer keys are being displayed online and the candidates who are unsatisfied with the keys may challenge the same by filling online application and paying the fees. The answer keys are placed online between 6th June to 9th June (upto 5 PM) for candidates to let them know the correct answers of the question they attempted in the exam.

Although the Council has released the answer keys prior to the declaration of results, it hasn’t notified of the confirmed date of result. However, it is expected that results will be out by next week. The final date will be notified at the website soon along with counselling schedule.

Veterinary Council of India had conducted the entrance test for admissions in Veterinary Colleges across the country on May 14 this year and the results are awaited. VCI had notified in the official brochure that AIPVT 2016 results will be announced in the last week of May, however, the results are not out yet. This delay in results declaration has left scores of students in confused state.

Government has vested powers in the Veterinary Council of India through Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 for regulation of veterinary practice and minimum standards of veterinary education. VCI was also rendered the responsibility of organizing a nationwide entrance test for filling up 15 percent seats in all Veterinary Colleges in India, on the lines of AIPMT which was till now conducted for admission in medical colleges across country. Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur and Rajasthan which were earlier not a part of the exam, have participated in AIPVT 2016 and will be facilitating admissions to meritorious students through AIPVT only. VCI would conduct counselling for 15 percent All India quota seats while counselling for admission in remaining seats in participating states will be conducted by them separately.

Students listed in AIPVT 2016 merit list will be eligible to take part in the counselling process for admission in Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H) course. Total 41 Veterinary Colleges are being listed in the list provided by VCI which will facilitate admissions under 15 percent All India quota, there are total 424 seats available under this quota.

AIPVT 2016 was conducted on May 14 in several test centers in 46 cities across the country with thousand of takers aspiring to get seat in their sought after college and course.
