The All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) is conducted by Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. Every year several lakhs medical aspirants appear for AIPMT with the hope of getting into best medical colleges for MBBS and BDS course across India. This year AIPMT was conducted on 3 May, but due to large scale irregularities and running over previous year questions of AIPMT, Supreme Court ordered CBSE to conduct re-test.
AIPMT 2015 Re-test
CBSE announced the re-test of AIPMT to be conducted on 25 July following the orders issued by Hon’ Supreme Court. This re-test is being conducted on a very short notice so students do not need to fill up the entrance form again. However, those students who did not fill up AIPMT form before will not be allowed to sit for the re-test on 25 of July. The process of refilling the exam form has been avoided by authorities, so that students can spend enough time on studies rather than on paper work.
Students’ view towards sitting for re-test
Students on other hand are in hesitation whether to reappear for AIPMT as they have to start their studies all over again. Some of the students have to appear for other competitive exams, this conflicting emotion has led them to think twice about their future.
There is an equal chance that a student who scored good rank might not get good grades this time. However, it would be a golden opportunity for those who were unable to score high. According to one of the medical aspirant, “one has to study for a full whole year to get prepared for AIPMT and now with only a month in hand it is impossible to again memorize the whole thing”. It surely will affect the outcome of result in a good or bad way but one have to abide by ruled and regulations set by board.
However if students face any problems regarding the guidelines presented by CBSE, candidate can clear the doubts visiting the official website of AIPMT i.e www.aipmt.nic.in
