AIPMT News : Re-test will not be conducted in Rohtak

All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT- 2015) was earlier conducted on 3 May 2015 across the country. However due to the news of answer key being leaked, CBSE was forced to cancel the examination. Rohtak among various test centers in India was in news, as 4 members of the gang operating behind the leakage of answer key were caught red handed here in this city. Keeping in view the petition filled by many parents, Supreme Court ordered cancellation of exam and asked CBSE to conduct re-test. The retest is being organized on 25 July.

Haryana police under the supervision of Inspector Shrikant Yadav nabbed these 4 culprits from the exam center with highly modified electronic gadgets which they were using for cheating purposes.

CBSE has decided not to allot any exam center in Rohtak. In spite of great work done by police, Rohtak was not allotted any center. Surprised by the move Rohtak Range IGP said “Instead of appreciating the local police for exposing the racket nationwide, they left Rohtak unearthed. Not even police were informed about the reason of not allotting any test centers in Rohtak.” CBSE officials on other hand made no comment regarding this matter.

This whole cancellation process has already created too much problems for students. Students in Rohtak are confused. Problems are striking them back again and again. Firstly, exam was cancelled, secondly, AIPMT announces re-test on 25 July. Re-test within a month creates huge problems for the students as they have to go through the whole syllabus in just few days, which would take months to prepare. And now this, not allotting any test centers in Rohtak. Due to extreme pressure, one cannot concentrate properly on studies and thus it may lead to failure.

Latest update : Relaxation in dress code

The new test centers are not announced publicly. CBSE officials said the allotted test center to a candidate would be informed through email and sms. New strict measures are being taken by CBSE to stop candidates from malpractice. Suggestions were made to install jammers and video cameras in test centers. The officials are taking every step carefully in order to maintain the level of AIPMT.
