CBSE has also made it very clear to examinees that if they fail to follow the instructions as prescribed by them, then they would not be allowed to appear for the test. The banned items include mobiles, Bluetooth devices, earphones, hairbands, caps, belts, scarves etc apart from above mentioned dress code .
The first premedical test was held on May 3rd 2015 and it was found to have many irregularities. Following the proceedings, Supreme Court directed CBSE to re-conduct AIPMT again where nearly 6.3 lakh students would be appearing. It was also clearly mentioned by CBSE that the re-test would be for those students who had already registered.
On June 23rd 2015, CBSE had announced that it would be re-conducting PMT on July 25th between 10 am to 1 pm. Press release stated that AIPMT website has uploaded admit cards for medical entrance exam and students were asked to take the print out of it. Candidates would have to paste a passport size photo on admit card and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer or Institute head. One photograph is also to be affixed on the attendance sheet, so students must keep one photo of theirs ready with them.
