AIMA postpones last date for MAT September 2015 offline registration

All India Management Association (AIMA) has released the notification stating the postponement of last date for MAT September 2015 offline registration to 25 August 2015. Earlier, the last date for registration was fixed as 21 August. However, now the decision to postpone the dates has been officially announced in the website of AIMA. Forms for AIMA MAT September 2015 can be purchased till 22 August. Management Aptitude Test is generally conducted in two modes; paper based and online.

Management aptitude test functions as a standardized form of examination that offers admission to Business Schools. Its existence dates back to 1988 and business schools all across the globe regard MAT to be a standard mode of evaluation for admission into management studies program for one and all students. Conducted in two modes, the first mode comprises of a paper based test which is conducted across a total of 22 centres across the country and the online exam is being conducted across 12 such centres. The paper generally consists of five sections namely data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence mathematical skills and language and comprehension.

AIMA functions as the apex body for all India Management studies. Established in the year of 1957, the body is a joint effort by the Government of India and the corporate sector with an aim to promote and boost the learning of management studies and associated skills all throughout the nation. To this day, AIMA boasts more than 61 local management associations along with 30000 professional members who form a part of the organization.

AIMA also happens to be an important member of Asian Association of Management Organizations (AAMO), South Asian Association of Management Organizations (SAAMO), and (CIOS), the Asia-Pacific regional body of World Associations of Management Organizations.

Students who will be writing their MAT exam this year, kindly note that this year the MAT Examination will be conducted in two modes for which the dates fall on 6 September and 12 September respectively. All MAT aspirants shall have to bear an expense of INR 1200/- as fees for the exam. The payment of fees can be made online by means of net banking, debit or credit card or demand draft or cash deposit at respective branches of nodal centre of AIMA.
