The admit card of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test has been released today for the examination scheduled to be held on January 21. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducts GPAT examination each year for facilitating admissions to the Master’s programme in Pharmacy (M.Pharm). The applicants can download GPAT admit card from the official portal www.aicte-gpat.in.
AICTE used to conduct GPAT twice a year but from the year 2016-17, it was decided to hold the test once a year. For admissions in the academic session 2018-19, GPAT 2018 will be conducted on January 21. The applications for GPAT 2018 were submitted from October 18 to December 25. All the AICTE approved Institutions, University Departments, Constituent Colleges, and affiliated colleges accept GPAT score for admissions.
GPAT 2018 will be conducted as a computer-based online test in 64 cities this year. The test will comprise of total 125 objective type questions, each carrying 4 marks. For each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score as per the Negative marking policy. The 3-hour long test will commence at 9.30 am, however, the candidates will have to reach their designated test centers on or before 8 am for security checks, identity verification, and check-in.
The candidates are required to get the GPAT admit card from the official website, AICTE has also forwarded the admit card to the registered email ids of the applicants. While filling the application form, the candidates were given the choice to select up to 3 cities (test center), and based on the choices filled & availability of seats, the test centers have been allotted to the applicants.
The candidates are required to bring a self-attested copy of GPAT 2018 admit card to the test center with recent passport size photo pasted on it. The candidates will also have to carry at least one original photo identification, such as Driving license, passport or voter ID.
AICTE will also conduct CMAT for admission to management programmes, the admit card of the test were released yesterday.
