AFCAT Result 2015 by Careerairforce Declared

Careerairfoece, the official website has announced AFCAT result 2015 today after a long haul since the exam took place on 22 February. The reports have been indicating this declaration since past few days now and as to the point and the benefit of students who had taken the exam, AFCAT 2015 result was published earlier today. Now the candidates can check their score and tally with the cut off and know whether or not they have qualified for the test.

Aspiring students have been waiting for this moment since more than 5 weeks now and finally they will come to know to their performance in the AFCAT 2015. Although qualifying the test is just the first step towards being a apprentice in the Air Force, yet it is mandatory to  qualify. The complete selection process have been given below. Indian air force has published notifications of AFCAT, 2015 for male and female in its official career website careerairforce.nic.in. Interested candidates can visit the page to apply for AFCAT 2015. Male and Female Indian Citizen under the Citizen of India Act 1955 can only appear for the AFCAT 2015. Branches for AFCAT 2015 will actually commence from January 2016. These branches are:

1) Flying Branch:
A) No.199/16F/SSC/M (Short Service Commission)
2) Technical Branch:
a) No 198/16T/PC/M (Permanent Commission)
b) No 198/16T/SSC/M (Short Service Commission)
3. Ground Duty Branch:
a) No 198/16G/PC/M (Permanent Commission)
b) No 198/16G/SSC/M (Short Service Commission)
I-Administration and Logistics
II-Accounts
III-Education

Date of starting of work is in January 2016 and will be declared later by IAF career division including the date of result declaration.

AFCAT Expected Cut Off Marks were:

AFCAT 1 2014 – 128
AFCAT 2 Cut-off 2014 – 123/300 and EKT – 45/150
AFCAT 1 Cut off 2015: 127/300 (expected)

Age Limit set for candidates applying for AFCAT 1 2015
For Flying Branch – 20 to 24 years. In case of candidates holding current valid Commercial Pilot License from DGCA (India), the Upper age limit is relaxed able up to 26 years.
For Technical Branch- 20 to 26 years
For GDOC- 20 to 26 years
Application for AFCAT 2015:
Login in the “Candidate Login” part of IAF website www.careerairforce.nic.in.
Note down the registration number generated once registering in to the website. The registration number will be necessary for future correspondence.
Fill up all the blanks and the questions asking in the form and submit it online.
Candidates are advised to keep all their academic credentials handy at the time of online application form submission.
Note: 10% of the total vacancies in IAF every year are kept reserved for the NCC Air Wing ‘C’ certificate holder candidates.

Selection Procedure for AFCAT 2015

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the next steps of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs) at Dehradun, , Mysore , Varanasi or Gandhinagar for the next three stages of selection:

Stage-I – This will be an Intelligence Test along with physical verification of all the documents submitted.
Stage-II this is again a group of Psychological test, Group Tests and face to face interview for the next five days.
Stage-III the AFCME will conduct a Medical Examination. Candidates failing to report for the medical test at AFCME, New Delhi or IAM Bangalore will have to undergo a cancellation in their candidature.

Candidates who will be declared medically fit by the AFSBs will be deployed at various centres of India based on their ranks and vacancies. Candidates will be granted of PC / SSC in Technical and Ground Duty Branches as per the merit list, their performance in the selection process and availability of vacancies. There is absolutely no compensation in any terms for any injury occurred to any candidate during the testing procedure at AFSB.
