Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University (Amrita University) has announced that its annual engineering entrance exam – Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE) would be held in April 2017. The entrance exam would be conducted both as a computer-based test (CBT) as well as a pen-paper based test.
AEEE 2017 application form can be accessed online at the university web portal (www.amrita.edu) as well as the aspirants can get the printed OMR application form from University counters, Post Office, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Federal Bank. The OMR application form can also be obtained by post. The application fee for AEEE 2017 is Rs. 1000. The online registration as well as the sales of OMR application form has begin from December 1 and the application form can be submitted by March 31, 2017.
Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE-2017) would be conducted in online mode at 96 cities across the country, while the pen-paper test would be conducted only in Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The successful candidates will be eligible for admission to various undergraduate B.Tech programmes offered by Amrita School Engineering in its four campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Vengal (Chennai).The CBT is scheduled to be held on April 20, 21, 22 & 23 in multiple shifts, while the offline test would be conducted on April 29, 2017 in a single shift.

Amrita University will also offer 90 percent waiver in Tuition fee to first 10 All India rank holders of CBSE and ICSE Board. Additionally, first 3 rank holders of all State Boards are also eligible for 90 percent Tuition Fee waiver.
