IBPS has uploaded the admit cards for the online main examination for Officer Scale-I posts and online single examination for Officer Scale-II & III posts. The online exam for all these posts will be conducted on December 11 and the candidates are required to carry their respective admit card for the exam.
The preliminary exam for Officer Scale-I posts was conducted on November 5, 6 and the results were announced on November 15. As the dates of the main exam were initially announced by the IBPS, the admit cards now stand released. The candidates will be able to download their admit card till the exam day, however, it is advised to get the admit card as early as possible to avoid any issue. The candidates can fetch the admit cards from ibps.in.
The Officer Scale II posts include General Banking Officer and Specialist Officer Cadre posts, hence the exam pattern differs for both category posts. The online exam for Officer Scale-I, Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer) and Officer Scale-III will have five sections : Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation, Financial Awareness, English/Hindi Language and Computer Knowledge. The online exam for Officer Scale-II (Specialist Cadre) will have one extra section – Professional Knowledge. Each section would have 40 questions, while the overall weightage of the exam remains 200 marks. The candidates scoring minimum cut-off marks in each section will be declared qualified for interview.
The interviews will be organized in January and will be of 100 marks. As much as 16,617; 5,997 and 594 candidates will be invited for interview for the posts of Officer Scale-I, II & III respectively. The final merit list will be prepared by taking the marks obtained by the candidates in main exam and interview in a ratio of 80:20.
The notification for CWE RRB-V was issued in September and the online applications were submitted from September 14 to 30. The recruitment process aims to fill around 16,560 posts in 56 Regional Rural Banks. These include 5,539 Officer Scale-I, 1,999 Officer Scale-II (General and Specialist), 198 Officer Scale-III and 8,824 Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts. The Scale-II vacancies are further divided as 1,533 General Banking Officer, 152 Agriculture Officer, 75 Marketing Officer, 19 Treasury Manager, 55 Law Officer, 35 Chartered Accountant and 130 Information Technology Officer posts.
